Avoiding Life's Mistakes!

Xtreme Life Training Center was a truly life changing experience. There is a huge problem in the church and in the world in general with people trying to do things before they are properly prepared. Psalms 78:8 speaks of the importance of a generation that prepares its heart and is faithful to God. The apostle Paul, Peter and Jesus all underwent a period of preparation. I have grown to love the quote that says, "Preparation time is never wasted time." Because I have seen it's truth in my own life.
Xtreme Life Training Center is the perfect place to begin that process of preparation. Whether someone is looking to go into a career as a mechanic or someone like me who desires to be involved in full time ministry, Xtreme Life Training Center can help. It has also taught me that everything I do whether preaching or working a job is ministry because ministry is simply serving God and serving people.
Life is complicated. Paying your bills, washing your clothes, buying a car, dealing with issues with friends, overcoming temptation, finding a spouse or choosing a career. No matter whether the decision is big or small, like it or not we all have to make these decisions. The greatest tragedy is that a generation has not been taught that God has something to say about everyone of those decisions and with the power of the Word and the guidance of His spirit he can lead us to triumph in every area of life in Christ.
God really used Xtreme Life Training Center to give me knowledge and biblical and understanding in every area of life. It was a great blessing to learn these things at a young age knowing that I am saving myself years of wasted effort and heartache. The bible says that people perish for lack of knowledge, so literally what we don't know is killing us.
Thankfully we don't have to perish, we can instead choose to listen, to prepare, to seek God in our youth with all our hearts. Xtreme Life Training Center helped me in that greatly and I know it will be a great blessing to your life as well. Choose to break away from the norm and stand for God now! You will never regret it!
XLTC students comments about the school!
"I came to Xtreme Life with such an expectation, such a hunger for more of God. I believe He met me every step of the way, and in many areas, more than I imagined. Over the past few years prior to attending, I had grown so much and was ready to hit the ministry field. Having built a foundation and knowing my calling, I was set! Then I was presented with this opportunity. God spoke to me right then & there, to attend the training center. The school had already started so I didn't have time to argue. Well, simply put, my relationship with the Lord hit totally new levels. The foundation that was built has now become more fortified. Overall I believe I became all around solid. The hunger before is now greater. We constantly came face to face with change during the year. Sometimes it was tough, but I wanted to grow. The teaching we received from The Word was my favorite aspect of the school. The practical training was very useful, as well as FUN. Both, combined with the relational, have given me great tools to use in ministry and life in general. It was instantly applicable then and still as useful, if not more, today. I still continue to draw from the lessons learned, and practice good habits gained throughout the year. We have gained training and teaching which have become invaluable additions to my growth as a believer. I very much recommend Xtreme Life to any young person looking to take their relationship with God to the next level. Whether or not you know what your calling is, come expecting... You will not be disappointed. Prepare yourself for LIFE!"
Okay... What I thought of the school, it was life changing literally. I know that it had to have been for everyone else who puts there whole heart and mind into doing what the schools asks. Mostly being obedient for me anyway. That was my whole thing, also too I was terribly shy and introvert kind of person. I was not outgoing and coming to some place new with different people I didn't know. My mind was about to overwhelm itself trying to process it all! God through the instructors and my own personal prayer and quality time with Him, changed me. I just had to be willing to let stuff go. Take His plan for my life to be courageous, in this new, stronger faith I had in God and step out of my lil bubble of comfortness. Where no one came in and nothing hardly ever came out.
Yet in the end I found it extremely hard to make myself go back to where I came from, back to all my past misbehaved memories awaited for me. I refused to settle and to be complacent to, fall back into that life! God had, and still is doing a good work in me and I will be obedient to His plan and desires.
It helped me for the next part of my life. When I had to talk in front of people I didn't know, complete strangers! It was completely nerve-racking! Overtime though I prayed about it and it got easier every time I stood in front of a crowd of people that I didn't know. Over half of the time when I did it. I was doing it afraid, God strengthened me and calmed my fears.
Now today I am the Youth Group leader at my home church. God had placed that dream in my heart way before graduation at XLTC! I didn't know when it was gonna happen, I really didn't think it was to be this soon! God works in mysterious ways! There is just so much more He is doing it is so overwhelming...no that is the wrong word for this. Mostly because it is so much better. Beyond my mere comprehensional thinking, being human but having the Almighty living in me! Praise God!!! Thank You Jesus!!!

Attending XLTC and being a part of the ministry team was an honor and an awesome learning and growing experience for me. In my opinion, the best part about XLTC was that everything I learned could be applied to my life immediately! All I learned was helpful and relevant, whether it be about finances, relationships, God, or life skills. Much change was involved, which took a lot of effort, but it was definitely worth it. I thank God for the time I had there, for the relationships and friends I acquired, and for all Pastor Brad and Patty and many others sowed into my life. What benefited me the most while attending was learning to have a REAL relationship with God. When I say "real" I mean having actual conversations with God just like one would with a best friend. I talk to Him, He talks to me. That is what Jesus did when He walked on the earth and that is what I am now able to do! Jesus only did what His Father told Him to do and only said what His Father told Him to say because He came to do His Father's will. (read John) This is something I now do on a daily basis and I promise it will change your life. I always knew I had a living God, but until attending XLTC I had no idea how to communicate effectively with Him. It is wonderful to be able to talk to the Lord about anything and everything. And He listens because He cares. "In ALL your ways acknowledge Him..." Prov 3:6. The other great thing about being able to talk to God is that now I can help anyone with anything, no matter what the problem. I know God is there and that He will listen and speak to anyone who gives Him the chance. I am confident in my God and I can prove He exists! Can You?
